Spellman Releases New DXM X-Ray Module
Compact, Cost-Effective DSP Based Generator Adds to Extensive X-Ray Product Line
Spellman High Voltage Electronics Corporation has introduced its new DXM X-Ray Module. This new high voltage offering from Spellman extends their already comprehensive array of X-Ray modules, rack instruments and Monoblock® X-Ray sources.
Compact and lightweight at 4.75"H x 6"W x 12"D (mm) and only 14lbs, the DXM ranges up to 70kV and is available in a 300W and 600W version. Designed to power the X-Ray tubes of most of the well known tube manufacturers, the DXM can be configured for either floating filament or grounded filament operation. DSP based emission control circuitry provides excellent regulation of emission current (《0.01%) with superior stability performance (《25ppm).
Another innovation built into the DXM is Spellman`s proprietary SIC (Standard Interface Card) option, which provides users the simultaneous availability of RS232, Ethernet or USB control of the unit. A Windows based graphical user interface (GUI) example is provided, and built in diagnostics can be performed over Ethernet via a Java Applet and any standard web browser.
The DXM comes with power factor corrected universal input, and is CE marked. Spellman has designed the DXM to easily integrate into X-Rays systems used for XRD, XRF, and a wide variety of industrial and analytical applications from thickness gauging and plastics sorting to NDT. Spellman`s cost-effective DXM can be customized for unique OEM requirements.
