Reddish orange solid. PROTECT FROM LIGHT. PACKAGED UNDER INERT GAS. Membrane-permeable version of FLUO 3 (Cat. No. 343244). Unlike all other Ca2+ indicators, FLUO 3/AM is non-fluorescent until it is hydrolyzed in the cell by cellular esterases. It is insensitive to Mg2+. Purity: ≥85% by HPLC. Excitation max.: 506 nm, Emission max.: 526 nm (after hydrolysis) CAS 121714-22-5.

Fluo 3-AM是一种高度特异性钙离子荧光探针,可以灵敏地反应细胞内游离钙离子浓度变化。Fluo 3-AM进入细胞后,经非特异性酯酶水解去掉乙酸甲酯(AM),成为Fluo-3留在细胞内。Fluo-3与细胞内游离钙结合后,其荧光强度明显增强。与钙荧光探针Fura 2相比,Fluo-3与细胞内游离钙亲和力更强,测定更灵敏。Fluo-3已经用于检测光化学作用引起的细胞内游离钙离子的脉冲变化。由于Fluo-3具有类似罗丹明和荧光素钠的荧光团,经常作为检测细胞内游离钙离子浓度的荧光探针。Fluo-3用于检测血浆中血小板和中性粒细胞中游离钙离子浓度的具体操作方法已经详细报道过。Fluo-3也可用于线粒体基质中游离钙离子水平的对照研究。
